Barley Straw Bales are a long term algae suppressant, the longest of the Barley Straw Range, proving up to 6 months coverage for all algae types. For customer convenience, Barley Straw come packaged read to go in their own net bag with float incorporated. It’s as simple as placing it close to the water surface and leaving it to float. All bales are made with 100% Australian-made natural barley, suited perfectly to fit the Australian climate.

For best results, apply bales prior to the growth of algae as a preventative measure.

HOW TO USE:

After application, wait 2 weeks for the Barley Straw to take effect. Barley Straw Bales should be replaced from your pond every 4-6 months to keep water fresh.
